Uproar in Assembly

The Winter session of Jharkhand Assembly session began on 15 th Dec  and it was supposed to continue for the six days. Amidst the uproar of the opposition the session continued to struggle to function for four days. But today on its fifth day the opposition from the very commencement of the Assembly session at around 11. am created pandemonium, shouted slogans, and disrupted the functioning of the house. The speaker first adjourned the house for 10 minutes, then again for 15 minutes and finally till afternoon, to hopefully resume the session at 2 pm. What was most disturbing was the fact that the opposition's disruption was just for the sake of disruption, it was not on any ethical ground nor on in compliance with any constitutional procedural function. Though the Parliamentary affairs minister time and again requested them to put forward their view in a proper procedure but who cared attitude continued logjam. 

Assembly speaker  tried to pacify them and assured them that they would be listened to anyhow but opposition continued to uproar in the house disrupting its functioning.

Opposition for the sake of disruption is harmful but if its done with good intentions, it can be a welcomed step lest it does nothing but lessens the pace of development.
